What do you actually do on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004?

I was just wondering do you do missions and things? Or do you just fly around? Someone please Help… I would like to know

you just fly around, but its extremelly realistic, so you have to plan youre flight, look at charts, etc etc…. its basiclly a game of being a real life pilot, mind numbingly dull for some people, but I love relistic games of any form, and am a big fan

there are some flights you ca do, such as flying along and you have to land quickly cause a flyer is ahving a heart atack etdc…

its also to train people
